“Santa! Oh, my God! Santa’s coming! I know him! I know him!”

It’s the 2nd of December and I have officially turned into Will Ferrell in Elf. I am SO excited! Christmas is my favourite time of the year, the build up, the present buying (the secrecy of what you’ve bought for family and friends), decorating the house and just having good old family time!

I visited the Manchester christmas markets tonight, They were so christmassy. We went for a meal first at the Alchemist which was lovely, and then went for a wander. Why is it that walking around the markets all you do is eat and drink? I’m feeling like such a blob right now haha. Quite a few of the markets were closed though because we left it quite late so we may have to go back in the afternoon! One of the best things about the markets is the little hidden gems you find, I found this fabulous illustration by a gentleman called Jamie Edwards. He was so lovely to speak to and I got this for my room –

I wanted to look good and be warm if we were going to be walking around the market so I wore my new Misguided skirt with a cute little long sleeved crop top from Topshop. The top is so versatile and works really well with a lot of my wardrobe and a bargain too at only £10..only £9 with student discount;) I wore this with tights, my knee high boots and Miss Selfridge Coat, I bought this coat in September and I’ve only worn it twice so I’m making an effort to wear it more, it is a very flattering style coat and practical with the fur collar designed to work as a scarf.
