So Vik, Em and I all visited Cau at Media City last night, If you have never heard of Cau before its an Argentinian steak restaurant which serves gorgeous cuts of steak cooked to your liking. The restaurant decor in the various different restaurants all follows the same sort of theme, a modern, clean, cow shed. From the ceilings being sky themed and the lights being fluffy clouds you instantly feel at ease and in a cool environment when you enter.

We all ate Argentinian Flatbread with Aubergine with Mozzarella and also Chorizo, mozzarella with manchego cheese for our starter. They are delish! We then ate Rump steak with various sides such as, roasted sweet potatoes, tender stem broccoli, roasted mushrooms and also thin chips, finished off with a peppercorn sauce. After we had ate we then found enough room to squeeze in a dessert, I opted for my favourite – The chocolate brownie with toasted marshmallows on the top. It was amazing, my fave dessert! Em had Churros which she said were really nice but had a very strong cinnamon dusting on top. Vik had Lemon Sorbet which was apparently really refreshing and a good ‘pallet cleanser’.

If you are ever in the area I would definitely suggest you go in! I have also visited the Cau in Wilmslow and the Cau in Amsterdam, they are both extremely good restaurants and if anything better than the Media City restaurant.
